Instructions for Employees & Contractors

Solent Pay needs to capture your information as part of your registration process to enable us to pay you. You will also receive access to our online portal, and be required to sign a contract. 

It’s important to ensure that you provide correct details as this will be used in order to make payments to you and send your information to HMRC. Payments made to incorrect bank details based on the information provided below will not be recoverable, so please ensure these details are accurate.

If you are registering on an Umbrella PAYE basis, please note that unless you make a request in writing, you will be paid at a contract rate and your holiday entitlement will be accrued. Holiday should be requested and taken in the calendar year to which it relates as it is not able to be carried over or paid out once the calendar year ends.
